It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benny Thomas of Apple Grove, West Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father David Lee Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Carol Ann Davis Thomas of West Union; his close friend Subrina Gebhardt; his daughter Davetta Leann Thomas; his grandchildren, KaLeia Bowen, Dwayne Hicks Jr. and William Hicks; his aunt Dixie Craig; his uncle John Davis of West Union; his cousins, Casey Gebhardt, Jordan Poston and Stephanie Bodmer (Eric); Knox. He is also survived by many cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home West Union (212 Front St, West Union, WV 26456). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
