He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Wateman Smith and Virgie Ann Smith (Lambert). He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ruth Smith (Deal) of Apple Grove, WV; and his brother Arthur W. Smith of Glenwood, WV. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
