Merdia leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Merdia’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Merdia will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harris and Elinor Lillian Stover (Kinniard); his son James Robert "Toby" Stover; and his brothers, James Jubal Stover and Bobby Gene Stover.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Stover (Plants); his son Dion Stover (Sherry) of Apple Grove, WV; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Belle" Saunders (Sam) of Point Pleasant, WV, Joan Campbell of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Sharon Duncan of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, William Stover (Sharon) of Letart, WV and Phillip Stover (Debbie) of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
