He is survived by: his parents, Jack Dolan and Jeanie Madge White Nelson of Renick, WV.; his wife Joyce Vance Nelson of Mingo County; his daughter Jessica Nelson (Quentin); his grandson Jared; his son Jack David "J. J." Nelson, Jr. (Courtney); his grandchild Kinsleigh; his uncle Kevin White of Renick; and his close friend Jason Ray of Arbovale. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
