Chuck Allen Smoot Obituary

We announce the death of Chuck Allen Smoot (Augusta, West Virginia), who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 67. Chuck will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Janette Sue Harrison; his brother Gary Garten; and his brother-in-law Stephen Billmeyer. He is survived by: his parent Jesse Kilton Smoot; his wife Kathy Smoot; his sisters, Vanessa Racey and Jessica Billmeyer; his children, Yana Smith (Billy) of Slanesville, Jesse Smoot (Autumn) of Rio, Cecily Davy (Dean) of Purgitsville and Josh Smoot (Kayla) of Kirby; his extended family, Danny Conway (Stacey), Danny Mizer (Misty), Butch and Betty Jo Seizmore; his grandchildren, Hanna Burgess, Katlelynn Blankenship, Lucas Davy, Jaden Smoot, Alexis Lambert, Keirstin Blankenship, Nevaeh Smoot and Colton Smoot; and his pet Zoey. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Wolford Family Farm.
