She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Thompson, Jr. and Nina Bell Blake Thompson; her son Ernest "Chad" McBride; her brothers, Danny and David Thompson; and her granddaughter Creedence Miller.

She is survived by : her husband Earl W. Miller; her sons, Brent H. Miller of Augusta, WV and Earl R. "Randy" Miller of Augusta, WV; her sisters, Darlene L. Burns of Romney, WV, Felecia J. Mason of Winchester, VA and Connie J. Everhart of Augusta, WV; her grandchildren, Alyssa Spaid, James and Andrew Miller; and her sisters, Willow and Ivy Miller.
