He is survived by: his wife Sydney Pierce Maurer; his siblings, Edna Whalen LaCorte (Penn) of Scots Run and Charles Maurer (Carmen) of Clinton, Utah; and his children, Edward Maurer of Norristown, Penn, Thomas G. Roxberry (Suzanne) of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Kathyrn Keeney Rich (Don) of Levittown, Cynthia Jastrembski (Robert) of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Nancy Minnick of Columbia and Corinne Wright of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He asked to be remembered through memorial contributions to a food pantry, rescue squad, volunteer fire company, or other local charity.
