She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob William King and Minnie King (Saville); her daughter Paula Kay Hines; and her siblings, Robert King, Floyd King, Clara Lee, Creola Cather and Mary Lou Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband Roland Shanholtz; and her children, Karen Saito of Augusta, WV, Joette Bean of Romney, WV and Richard "Ricky" Hines of Winchester, VA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
