He was predeceased by: his parent Getrude Bowman; and his son George S. Bowman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Dixon; his daughter Amy Bowman of Augusta, WV; and his grandchildren, Dylan of Augusta, WV, Cassie Bowman of Augusta, WV, Danielle of Augusta, WV, Maggie Slocum of Augusta, WV and Aspyn Slocum.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory (2807 Northwestern Turnpike, Capon Bridge, WV 26711). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
