She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Garfield Buckland and Janice Aileen Dillon Buckland; her husband Irvin Edzel Mitchem; her siblings, Azel Buckland and Hazel Jane Blankenship; and her son-in-law George Daniel "Danny" Mann.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Mann of Ballard, WV; her grandchildren, Mary Ellen French (Andy) of Pearisburg, VA, Jean Bowles (Clayton) of Ripplemead, VA and Daniel Mann of Ballard, WV; and her great grandchildren, Kaylie French, Ryan French and Brooklyn French. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
