It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Mae (Bennett) Hise of Bartow, West Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Bennett and Annie Katherine Bennett (Smith); and her husband Clellon Clay "Hoppie" Hise. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Breeden (Matthew) of Monterey, Andrew Hise (Gloria) of Monterey, Keith Hise of Spring Hill, Fla. and Doug Hise of Westminster, MD.; and her sister Betty Vandevander of Dunmore. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
