In loving memory of Mary Louise Layton of Bayard, West Virginia, born in Westernport, Maryland, who departed this world on April 22, 2026 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her husband George R. Layton Sr.; her parents, Carl W. Cosner and Lottie Cosner (Parker); and her siblings, John, Jimmie, Clyde Cosner, Elsie Lee Montgomery and Elva Nardi.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Ann Layton and George, Jr. (Ginny) of Fairmont, WV.; her grandchildren, Jason Scripp (Jackie) of Scottdale, PA, Chris Layton of Tampa, FL and Ross Layton (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Scripp, Annelyse, Avery Layton, Grady and Silas Layton; her sister-in-law Carolyn Cosner; and her nephew Rick. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.
