He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend John Earlie and Lois Buster Watkins of Virginia; his grandparents, Elbersole, Edna Buster, James and Mattie Watkins; his siblings, Gerald Watkins, Sp5 Emmanuel Watkins, Gary Dewayne Watkins, Lisa Marie Watkins and Gregory Watkins (Deborah); his sisters-in-law, Wilma "Tee" Watkins, Krystal Watkins and Twana Watkins Price; his nieces and nephews, Brian Watkins (Patty), Braylyn Watkins, Bakita Amos (Lamont), Michelle Watkins, Tiffany Watkins, Taniqua Palmer (Brandon), Tajuana Jones (Johnny), Gregory Watkins and Justin Watkins (Jessica); his uncle Dr. Sherman S. Watkins; and his cousins, Dorethea Smith, Lynn Austin (Billy), Kathryn Coles, Freda Patterson (Emmit) and Priscilla Williams (Charlene Newkirk).
