She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Byrd and Mary Eta Tolliver Byrd; her husband Kermit Wood; her siblings, Claude, Elvie Byrd, Ada Farmer, Ina Wren and Nila Renick; and her daughter-in-law Jane Wood.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Wood (Cynthia) of Grandview and Jim Wood of Weston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
