It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Ruth Skaggs of Beaver, West Virginia, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vivian Ruth Skaggs to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Smith and Clarice McKinney Smith; her husband Wilcie Skaggs; and her siblings, Gladys Olsen, Hulda Vest, Betty Osborne, Orville "Sonny" Smith and Tommy Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Tim Smith, Joe Smith, Francis Hart and Marilyn Waterbeck; her son Jerry Skaggs (Mary) of Wayne, N. J.; her grandchildren, A. J. Skaggs (Trish) of Williamsburg, Jerry A. Skaggs of Little Rock, Ark., Kim Schulte of Hopewell Junction, N. Y., Dana Marrs (Jerry) of Prescott, AZ and John Aspromonte (Bernadett) of Franklin Lakes, N. J.; and her great grandchildren, Kayleigh Skaggs, Madison Skaggs, Amanda Schulte, Jacob Schulte, John Aspromonte, Lili Aspromonte, Scott Marrs and Isaac Marrs. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Perry Memorial United Methodist Church (100 Perry Ln, Shady Spring, WV 25918). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
