She was predeceased by: her son Brian Henderson. She is survived by: her sister Cheryl Jacobsen; her husband Richard Cappellari of Beckley, WV; her children, Daniel Henderson, Lori Bequette (Tony) and Stephen Murray (Jennifer); and her stepson Brandon Cappellari (Lauren). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family invites donations to Saint Frances de Sales School at in Alana's honor.
