She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence William Baker and Mary Alice Baker (Johnson); her children, Leslie Belita Watson (Hughes) and Byron Cassius Hughes; her husband Deacon Frank Terry; her siblings, Chester Baker, Clarence Baker, Jr., Earl Baker and Juanita Morris; her grandchildren, Valarie Watson and Walter Watson III; and her stepdaughters, Bernice Blackwell, Dorothy Johnson and Ernestine Webb.

She is survived by: her siblings, Alphonso Baker of Providence, RI and Geraldine Tyson of New Britain, CT; her grandchildren, Crystal Watson of Newark, NJ, Tracey Counts of Newark, NJ, Cassius Hughes and Monty Counts; her daughter-in-law Constance Hughes of Newark, NJ; her cousins, Juanita Lloyd of Philadelphia, PA and Rita Phillips of Brooklyn, NY.; her nephew Charles Hughes (Valerie) of Beckley, WV; her niece Cassandra Darden (Bennie) of Charlotte, NC; and her caregiver Lori Mayo. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may view and visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral service.
