She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Tate and Daisy Martin Tate; and her siblings, Hobert, James, Jack Martin, Margaret, Louella, Sharon Tate, Connie Bynog, Linda Vest and Evelyn Young.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracey Tate of Hinton, WV, Mysti Whelan of Bluefield, WV, Erin Williams of Roanoke, VA, Ashley Whelan of Ballard, WV and Amy Whelan of Hinton, WV; and her siblings, Paul Tate, Jr. of Beckley, WV, Woodrow Meeks of Hinton, WV and Alice Fleshman of Lewisburg, WV. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
