With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Daniel of Beckley, West Virginia. Barbara, born on September 11, 1930 in Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away on October 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Charles Richard "Dick" Daniel; and her parents, Melville Coddington and Essie Olive Shumaker. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Charles Richard "Dick" Daniel Jr. (Lora) of Ghent, Jennifer Daniel Brandenburg (Mike) of Richmond, Linda Daniel (Jack Griff) of Sarasota, Fla. and Nancy Daniel Fulks of Davidson, N. C.; her grandchildren, Susan Daniel Heriot (Jeff), Kristen Daniel Waxman (Taylor), Michael Todd Fulks II (Lily), Lindsay, Brandenburg Wiley (Casey), Katie Brandenburg Stallons (Cody), Tricia Fulks Kelley (Derek), Barbara Jane Brandenburg, Liza Preston Fulks, Sibilia (Jim), John "Jack" Charles Brandenburg (Trista), Megan, Brandenburg Parker (Geoff), Dr. Daniel "Dano" Stephen Fulks (Brogan), Meredith Bonnesen Daniel (Joey Shadel), Charles "Chad" Alexander Daniel (Kateland) and Richard "Rich" Preston Daniel (Morgan); her brother James; her sister-in-law Susan Shumaker; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Gabriel, Julian Heriot, Charlie, Fen Waxman, Daisy, John, Poppy, George, Charles, Violet Fulks, Tucker, Brooks, Wilson Wiley, Garner, Marlowe, Nellie Stallons, Max, Ross Kelley, Paul, Mark, Andrew, Ellie Sibilia, May, Phoebe Brandenburg, Hazel, Clara Parker, Theo, Harry, Dexter Fulks, Essie, Jude Shadel and Asher Daniel; and her grandsons, Dano and Chad.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 200 Twin Oaks G, Crab Orchard, WV 25827. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at the Sunset Memorial Park (1925 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801).
