It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Wayne Basham of Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Basham and Gladys Miller Basham; and his siblings, Jerry Basham, Larry Basham, Jimmy Basham, Ricky Basham, Doris Hamm and Linda Raines.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Brooks Basham; his children, Reva Basham, Melisa Bowyer (Steve) of Princeton, Veronica Mitchell and Billy Basham Jr. (Melody) of Fairdale; his brother Danny Basham of Princeton; and his grandchildren, Eric Basham, Jeffery Warden, Seth Warden, Ashley Workman, Hannah Brehm, Dylan Basham, Kacie Ellis, Carrie Jo Miller and Clay Basham. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
