He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Barnhart and Bessie Lavender Barnhart; his wife Patricia Barnhart; and his siblings, John Barnhart (Connie) of Beckley, WV and Ruth Diane Barnhart.
He is survived by: his daughter Kayla Fitch (Scott) of Cabin Creek; his granddaughter Kennedy; his stepgrandchildren, Zach, Hailee, Ralphie, Faith and Gunner; and his sisters, Naomi Jean Redlich (John) of Hampstead, NC and Ruby Tufts of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
