He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hoten of Harrisonburg, VA and C. C. Hoten (Sara) of Beckley, WV; his siblings, Deborah "Debbie" Spencer (Terry) of Chesaning, MI, Bruce Hoten of Chesaning, MI and Kurt Hoten of Chesaning, MI; and his grandchildren, Aaron "Bubbi" and Airidesa Hoten.
