In loving memory of Clyde Franklin Martinez (Beckley, West Virginia), born in Chicago, Illinois, who departed this world on April 20, 2024 at the age of 64. As we bid Clyde farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Clyde is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan Martinez of Beckley, WV and Virginia Adkins Martinez of Beckley, WV; and his brother Joseph Martinez of Springfield, IL.. He is survived by : his sons, Nicholas Martinez of Dania, FL and Clyde Martinez Jr. of Tampa, FL; his grandson Collin Martinez; and his siblings, Juanita Lawrence (Stephen) of Newport News, VA, Michael Martinez (Bobbi) of Deland, FL and John Martinez of Foxlake, IL.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beckley Church of God (414 N Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801).
