It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darell Keith Carter of Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ted Carter and Mildred Carter of Prince; his siblings, Terry (Margie), Roy and Lena (Bill); his wife Joyce Kay Carter; his sons, Justin Carter (Rena) of Beckley and Jason Carter of Beckley; his sister Sue Watkins (Don) of Beckley; his sister-in-law Trudy of Utah; his brother Jay of Illinois; and his grandson Corbin (Darell). He was also cherished by "Pops", and many other nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the CAMC Carl Larson Cancer Center.
