He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda; and his brother-in-law Virgil Lewis. He is survived by: his father Donald Hawks; his sisters, Tammey Lewis and Cindy Pertee (Brian); his siblings' children, Tyler Pertee, Rachel Kittle (Eric), Aaron Pertee (Tia) and Brianne Pino (Jake); his great-nieces, Hadley, Taylie and Keyari Kittle; and his great-nephew Jude Pino.
