He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda; and his brother-in-law Virgil Lewis. He is survived by: his father Donald Hawks; his sisters, Tammey Lewis and Cindy Pertee (Brian); his siblings' children, Tyler Pertee, Rachel Kittle (Eric), Aaron Pertee (Tia) and Brianne Pino (Jake); his great-nieces, Hadley, Taylie and Keyari Kittle; and his great-nephew Jude Pino.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
