It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Mae Worrells (Beckley, West Virginia), who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Freddy C. Worrells; her father Frank Israel; her daughter-in-law Diane Worrells; her brother Donald Israel; and her mother Myrtle Mae Israel.
She is survived by: her sons, Randall, Richard (Melody) and Robert (Debbie); her grandchildren, Stephanie Ross (Andrew), Megan Marohl (Doug), Mendy Helvey (Michael), Kevin Worrells (Brianne), Tyler Worrells (Amanda) and Sydney Bowman (Ethan); and her siblings, Darrel Israel, Rev. Bud Israel and Esther Akers. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Beckley in memory of Edie.
