She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Steele and Gladys Cline Steele; her husband Roger Altizer; her siblings, Lewis Steele, Sam Steele, Margie Baugh and Daisy Toler; and her son-in-law Gary Brooks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Brooks of Beckley and Angela Killebrew of Grundy, VA; her siblings, Harold Steele, Phyllis Acord (Bobby) and Bonnie Berry (James); and her grandchildren, Breanna Killebrew, Ethan Brooks and Nathan Brooks.
