He was predeceased by: his parents, Maltbie Dwight Pettry and Shirley Marie Gunther Pettry. He is survived by: his daughters, Crystal Green (Kyle Adkins) of Beckley and Annette Mackey (James) of Columbia, SC; his stepgrandson Patrick Mackey (Amber) of Columbia, SC.; his partner's son Patrick Gunther of Beckley; his cousin Tammy Sturgill Landy (Nathan) of Youngsville, LA; his friend Douglas Maynard of Beckley; and also, Hayden Landy and Jaden Landy.
