He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Hazel Plumley and Thelma Plumley of Abraham; his wife Dessie Plumley; his children, Diane Sarah Plumley Good, Henry J Plumley Jr., Angela Beth Plumley Allen, Darlene Marie Plumley Settle, Christine Eve Plumley Stover, Jennifer Elaine Plumley Williams and Timothy Lee Plumley; his grandchildren, Jacob Henry Williams, Samuel Wayne Williams, Kaylea Amber Stover and Krista Eve Stover; and his friend Henry.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Daniel Cemetery.
