He was predeceased by: his father Selby H. Blevins; his wife Theresa; his son Selby Lee Blevins; and his siblings, Charles Blevins, Selby H. Blevins Jr., Harley Blevins, Linda Stump, Mae Birchfield, Betty Blevins, Juanita Adkins, Jewell Marie Cook and Pauline Mullens.

He is survived by: his sons, David Lee and Xavier Blevins; and his brothers, Bobby and Steve Blevins.
