It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Hackney (Beckley, West Virginia), born in Clendenin, West Virginia, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his grandson Luke Krawchyk; Jack and Beulah Powers. He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Hackney, Leigh Krawchyk and Sandi Shamblin (Greg); his grandchildren, Brittany Lilly, Logan Krawchyk (Melissa), Amber Vergos (Chris), Lauren Krawchyk, Jacob Shamblin, Dirk Shamblin (Hannah) and Taylor Shamblin; his great grandchild Declan; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Liberty, Kennedy and Savannah.
