He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Lee Vest and Dexter Lowe Vest; his daughter Cindy Carol Vest; his stepson David Glen White; and his siblings, Clyde, Richard, Roger, Elnora and Sharon.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carrol Wood Vest; his brothers, Donald and Jerry; his sister-in-law Ann; and his grandson Adam White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
