He was predeceased by: his father Sammy Moyer McPeake; his wife Caralene Goodwin McPeake; and his brothers, Richard, Samuel A. McPeake and Gary Utt.
He is survived by: his mother Lucille Collins McPeake of Sophia; his siblings, Ruth Cox of MacArthur, Paula Staples (Roger) of Midway, WV, Geraldine Cox (Les) of Sophia, WV and Paul McPeake (Judy) of Abingdon, VA; and his sister-in-law Bonnie McPeake of Southern Pines, NC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church.
