He is survived by: his wife Diana Lilly Leach; his sons, James Ray Leach Jr. of Texas, Steven Leach (Terri) of Beckley and Richard Leach of Beckley; his grandchildren, Steven Leach Jr., Mark Leach, Caitlyn Willis (Zach) and Tyler Leach; and his great grandchildren, Mason Leach, Paisley Yopp, Wade Willis, Acelynn Leach and Waylon Willis.
