She is survived by: her husband Mike Shumate; her son Chris Shumate (Angela); her grandchildren, Gabriel and Ella Shumate; her siblings, Caroline McGraw (Rudy), Rick McGraw (Judy), Kenny McGraw (Yvonne) and Andy McGraw; and her siblings-in-law, Victor Shumate (Kay), Debbie Shumate and Karen Maynor (Joel).
The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
