He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Waddell and Cecil Biggs of Beckley; his stepfather Cecil Waddell of Beckley; and his brother Arthur Mills (Brenda Ayers Biggs) of Beckley. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Biggs of Princeton, Victoria Biggs of Beckley and Katherine Biggs of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Houston Coburn of Princeton and Taylor Coburn of Huntington; and his shih-tzu Buddy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jerry's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
