We announce the death of John William Scott of Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Scott and Gladys Ann Farrish; and his siblings, Robert Lee (Butch) and Barbara Crump. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Sue Buckland Scott of Hinton, WV.; his sons, J. R. (Kayla) and Bobby (Stacie); his siblings, Tommy and Mary Ann; and his grandchildren, Jared, Brianna, Isabella and Grace.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calfee Funeral Home (800 S Oakwood Ave, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
