He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Chambers; his son Joseph Eddie Chambers Jr. "Bucky"; his siblings, Virginia Irene Allen, Helen Marie Bailey, Elizabeth Ann Burnette, Willis Earl Chambers "Dickie", Elmer Ray Chambers, Billy Franklin Chambers, Gilbert Edward Chambers Jr. and Richard Lee Chambers; his great grandchild Caleb Acord; his daughters, Tina Davis (Mark) of Sandlick, WV and Debbie Painter (Greg) of Sandlick, WV; his sister Martha Lou Baxter of Warrensburg, MO; his grandchildren, Stephanie Acord (Ryan) of Sandlick, WV and Brayden Painter; and his great grandchild Layla Acord.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at the McGinnis Cemetery.
