He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Preston Ramsey and Anne Warner (Fink); his son Joey Ramsey; his granddaughter Ashlie Easter; and his sister Cheryl Flanagan.
He is survived by: his wife Betty C. Ramsey (Meador); his children, Cary VanValkenburgh, Sue Easter, Bobbi Shrewsbury (Eddie), Billy VanValkenburgh (Sandra), Joy VanValkenburgh, Donna Lilly (Gary), James McSwain (Mary Ann), Tricillia Schmidt, John Powers, Jennifer Powers Massie and Joseph S. Ramsey (Maggie); his cousin Mike Fink (Karen); his brother-in-law Bob Flanagan; and his pet Duke. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
