He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stephens and Margaret Montgomery Stephens; his wife Shirley Frances Stephens; his great grandchild Axil Musick; his daughter Sharon Foster; and his siblings, Brenda Atkins, Roger Stephens and Josephine.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael G. Stephens (Connie) of Fitzpatrick and Scott Stephens (Barbara) of Alderson; and his siblings, Debra K. of Hinton and Mark Wayne of Hinton. He is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
