It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Jones of Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Stump and Dorothy Wood Stump; and her siblings, Buford, Doug Stump, Elizabeth Ward, Sharon Cadle and Shirley Richmond.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Jones; her children, David Jones of Beckley, Howard Jones of Cumming, GA, Tammy Lynch of ShadySpring and Pamela Mitchem (Carlos) of Dahlonega; her brothers, Donald Stump (Faye) of Cool Ridge and Jeff Stump (April) of Logan; and her grandchildren, Scott Lynch (Tiffany) of Beckley, Cassandrah Wilder (Jon) of Palm Coast, FL, Nichole Mason (Wesley) of Beckley, Ashlee Lynch of Huntington, Adam Mitchem (Jackie) of Dawsonville, GA and Brandon Mitchem (Hunter) of Dahlonega, GA. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
