She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Akers Walker and Beatrice Fox Walker; her former husband William Howard McDaniel, Jr.; her husband William Charles Boyd; and her siblings, Harold Walker, Denver Walker, Carol and Genevieve.
She is survived by: her son Harold McDaniel (Shirley) of Beckley; her sisters, Brenda Vallandingham of Hinton, Elizabeth Raines of Ohio, Peggy Major of Flint and Norma Wingard of Meadow Bridge; and her granddaughters, Janet McDaniel of Danese and Tammy Trump of Fairdale. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
