With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Thompson (Beckley, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Louise and William Matherly; and her husband John Claude Thompson. She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Thompson (Jesus), Richard, Carlos, Jan, Mike, Paul, Sue, Marsha and Sandy; her children, Melanie Cooper (Tom), Greg Thompson (Lisa) and Tina Blevins (Keith); and her grandchildren, Sheena, Aaron, Corey, Austin, Haley, Addie, Courtney and Nicholas.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home (5251 Robert C Byrd Dr, Beckley, WV 25801). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
