It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Stephenson Cole (Beckley, West Virginia), who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Becky Cole; his parents, Ida Thompson Cole and Jess W. Cole; and his siblings, Virginia Bolen, Easter Johnston, Hershel Cole and Jess A. Cole.
He is survived by: his daughter Diana Smith (Charles Smith); his grandchildren, Abby Smith, Treh Smith and Chase Barkley (Makayla); his stepson Calvin Garretson (Tina Garretson); his grandchildren, Cati Garretson, Cindi Garretson and Colton Garretson; his siblings, Margret Mills, John Cole, Janet Messer, Mettie Blankenship (Eddie) and Charles Cole (Drema); and his sister-in-law Donna Cole. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calfee Funeral Home (800 S Oakwood Ave, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
