It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lamb Scott (Beckley, West Virginia), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leo Lamb and Colleen Akers Lamb Ellison; her brother Douglas Leo Lamb; and her nephew John Douglas Lamb. She is survived by: her husband Randy Scott; her children, Sally Ratcliff (Doug) and Steven Scott (Candie) of Grandview; her grandchildren, Leo, Sofie Attilli, Colton, Cooper, Dalton Ratcliff, Jacob Dove-Scott, Kamryn Scott, Amber, Caleb, Sara, Jamie, Xander Johns and Brittney Bragg; her sisters-in-law, Leanna Lamb and Robin Whitener; her close friends, Mary Pittman, Susan Stewart, Tara Ramey and Dixie Howell; Michelle Dove.
She received national recognition for her contributions to Clinical Oncology Nursing, and was a highly regarded speaker for the Oncology Nursing Society and the WV Nurses Association.
