She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorse Lilly and Marie Kenney Lilly; her grandson Justin Lawson; her aunt Sadie McCormick; and her uncle Edward V. Kenney.
She is survived by: her husband John Abe Lawson; her children, Johny Martin (Meli) of Germany, Stephen Lawson (Karen) of Manila, Philippines, Mike Lawson (J. D. Wright) of Mt. Hope, Sherri Lawson Dorsey (Eric) of Fayetteville and Leigh Ann Lawson Knott (Doug) of Beckley; her daughter-in-law Amy Lowe Lusk; her grandchildren, Seth (Amanda), Brooke, Tyler (Brooke), Zachary, Alex, Makiah, Jordan, Olivia, Brandon (Amber), Scott, Kyle (Amber), Lauren (Bradley) and Emily; and her siblings, Margie Cox (Delmas) of Shady Spring, Ann Lilly (Roger) of Beckley, Nancy Snuffer (Raymond) of Great Falls and Wayne Lilly (Mary) of Crab Orchard. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Hospice of Southern West Virginia in Mrs. Lawson's name.
