It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mable Joyce Pennington (Beckley, West Virginia), born in Arcola, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar H. Goddard and Mable A. Goddard; and her siblings, Irving Goddard, Calvin Goddard, Robert Goddard, Richard Goddard, Charles Goddard, Mae Goddard Peters and Mildred Goddard Ulrich.
She is survived by: her husband Reverend Ernest C. Pennington; her children, Keith Pennington (Linda) of Lakeland, FL, Gary Pennington (SueAnne) of Parkersburg, WV and Lavonne Boothe (Dan) of Beckley, WV.; her grandchildren, Koby, Brianna, Travis and Alex; and her sisters, Olive Goddard Aspinall (Violet Goddard Brown) and Saskatchewan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Beckley Dream Center DBA Fishes and Loaves and/or Ezra International in care of Church of God Family Worship Center, 224 Pinewood Drive, Beckley, WV 25801.
