He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Roark and Mary Johnston Roark; and his brothers, Willard, William and Luke Shrader.

He is survived by: his siblings, Freddie Goad of Odd, George Shrader of Coal City and Rose Bolen of North Carolina.
