It is with sadness that the passing of Patty Pettry (Beckley, West Virginia) is shared. Patty, born on October 27, 1942, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other James Pettry; her parents, Herman Price and Alice Price; her brothers, Elmer Price and Nevie Jarrell; her sister-in-law Laverne Jarrell; her son-in-law Charles Howard; and her granddaughter Tiffany Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Janie Howard, Eric Pettry (Carla), Kimberly Trent (Tony), Keith Pettry (Mary), Jill Lester (Cliff), Darren Pettry (Joy), Sheila England (John) and Ericka Banks (Michael); her brother-in-law Arley Pettry; and her close friend Peggy Cox. She is also survived by grandchildren and 27 great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Pineview Cemetery (21557 Coal River Rd, Orgas, WV 25148).
