He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Edwin Hodge and Betty Smith Hodge Elam; and his sister Anita Bushnell of Columbia, TN.. He is survived by: his friend Hog Tails; his wife Selena Hall Hodge; his children, Zachery Michael Hodge of Victor, WV, Charissa Reinschild and Ashley Hodge of Myrtle Beach, SC; his stepdaughter Shanine (Stephen Walker) of Crab Orchard, WV; his sisters, Joyce (Lonnie Bennett) of Columbia, TN and Lola (Jim Tate) of Abington, VA; and his close friends, Billy and Amy Hype of Ansted, WV.

The family requests donations to be made to Hospice of Southern WV and the DAV in his honor.
